Yes, it's rougher than I thought, which is impressive considering the whole thing is built of 3/16" diamond plate. I'm not going to be able to match the pattern to, so the inside may look a little odd.
But it's unique looking, the fenders are actually in decent shape, and the frame was modified to mount the bed and wrecker equipment so I'm not sure I could even use an original bed on it now anyway. Only tricky part will be how to build some sort of tailgate for it.
