Just keeping you thinking. On my dump bed I figured why it was not lining up perfect. When the bed is lifted the dump frame & hinge is rigid and does flex like the rest of the frame does on the truck cause it is not bolted to it on 4 sides. I have inside plates on both sides to guide it in going down but there is room for a little play if needed. So when I moved the PW forward the ground was more uneven and the bed was still strait when up and when down it was still square but the frame was twisted some. To stop any flexing of one but not the other you need to bolt them together or make it so the frame can't move at all when down. I like the movement cause it saves the welds/bolts from more stress on the dump frame. It will flex but not for every movement of the lower frame. It sits on rubber pads when down.
