I want to enter one of my Dodge trucks in a truck pull next year, either the WM300 (stock 251) or the WM500 (modified 318 6x6). Next year's truck/tractor pull at the Boulder County (Colorado) Fair would be fun. I'd like to use the event as a goal to get the 6x6 ready for. I've searched the internet for how to enter, and I don't see anything obvious. It looks like I have to join a truck pulling association, have the truck certified, blah, blah, blah.... I just want to have some fun and see what the truck will do. It also looks like everything is set up for 4x4 trucks, so I wonder if the 6x6 will be outside their parameters.
Anyone here have some experience with truck pulls?
