That image is of one of the Power-Wagons specifically equipped for Wendell Phillips second expedition into Yemen in 1951 in the search for clues about the Queen of Sheba.
Yes, the truck was equipped at the factory. No, they are not the same tires. The last tires I saw of the type shown in this image was in 1983 at VPW in use on a civilian Power-Wagon. The tire was very old at that time and it was a 10.00 or 10.50 x 16.
