odds of getting a flat are very remote with these kinds of tires. remember its not a Toyota. ;/) Tubeless rims get flats easier on the trail unless they have some kind of bead lock set up. I have pulled people out of situations where the valve stem got broken off or something pushed too hard on side wall breaking bead and lost all air. those things just don't happen with tubes.
