Me too but one time I was using a capstan winch with a rope pulling a log on the ground. You had to hold the rope with your hand to keep it going. It stretched the 3/4" poly rope pretty good doing it. Then the rope got under a wrap so I jerked it a little. All I remember is that rope got loose and zipped 20 ft or so thru my glove and burned it and my fingers inside. Almost tore my fingers off to. The glove saved my hand but I still got my fingers cooked. It would have been way worse with out the glove on the burns. Last time I ever used it to drag something. It was used to pull wire in conduits and called a Greenlee Tugger.
