These new pitman arms were created from a completely custom design and a new process that has been a rather sizable investment of time and resources for Vintage Power Wagons. In order to ensure the safety of 4x4 owners, the design and process have both undergone revisions to reach the level of quality and durability that reach our standards. Each unit is cut from a solid brick of 4140 high carbon tool steel, hardened to brinell hardness 250-280, stress relieved and tempered for strength. The arm is then powder coated to protect against debris during operation and weathering over time.
