Got the hub all apart and found the brake shoes I got from Rock Auto don't fit. Shoes I got that showed as correct for the year and model are 33PG, which is 2" x 12", whereas my old shoes are 2-1/2" and my drum is 13" ID. I find a 60PG which is listed as 2-1/2" x 14". Are those the ones to use, or is there something else I should get. It's a Dana 70 rear end. Do they measure shoes by the ID of the drums or by the approximate OD? I always assumed it was ID, but never really checked.

I'm supposed to be heading out on that long trip Sunday and would have left well enough alone for now except the wheel cylinder leaks a lot and the brakes are grabby. I may end up just washing off the existing shoes, cleaning things up as best I can, and getting back on the road with it for now. I'll still need a seal, though, because the inner bearing got all full of dirt and I can't get it out without wrecking the seal. That's assuming the wheel cylinder R.A. sent me are correct, which seems unlikely given the shoes being wrong.

Any help on what I should really be buying would be much appreciated, or even just something about how they measure the "diameter" of brake shoes.
