Door Glass Question on Trim?

My gaskets are on the way except for the channels that go in the top of the door frame and down the back side for the glass to slide in. They are on back order. Can I put this in later after the glass is in place? It could be another couple weeks+ before VPW has them back in stock. The Beds plate steel should be at the welding shop to bend up today so that is a plus!
