I got a 2005 2500 2wd plain jane 4 door. Hand crank windows and manual locks. Its been a good truck so far. I get 15mpg putting around town and 20mpg at 75mph on interstate 21mpg at 70mph and 22.5mpg at 65mph.
My only issues have been the ac/heater doors in the dash. Recirc has dumped on me and I currently think I have a blend door failing.
I try and run fuel from known locations and run Power Service usually every fill up. My fuel company sells Baldwin 7977 fuel filters for 11$ and I replace the fuel filter in the spring and fall.
I haven't pulled anything heavy but the Cummins is a beast driving around I can only imagine how awesome it would be pulling!
