Go to Hypertherm's web site, and learn about cutting. Hypertherm is the only machine I'd buy, and even if they are the highest priced, their machine is the best bargain in cutting.

The company is 100% employee owned, and is truly a US company. The representations made on their site are truthful and reliable. Hypertherm is the company that reinvented plasma to operate on compressed air, not 3 bottles of gas. They have continued to improve cutting across the board, be it plasma, water, or laser.

When you have LEARNED the reality, you'll understand the rest of the manufacturers spew 80% crap.

Thermal Dynamics is a US company, and I'm levitating 4" above the chair as I type this.
TD's only US presence is a phone bank and container breaking and reshipping facility on the Left coast. TD would offshore the phone bank if they could find true English Speakers in a cheap labor market, but they haven't yet.

TD WAS a good US company 30 years ago when they made transformer machines. TD inherited most of Hobart Bros product line when Hobart became part of the Illinois Thug Works holding company and had to shed engine drives and some other product lines. TD was so smart they scrapped warehouses full of Hobart Bros parts. They also scrapped all the drawings and tech information.

In fairness, TD does have 1 fine product, they developed the best hand held plasma gun in the industry. The gun can be connected to other manufacturer power units.

Eastwood, give me a break. Same crap as Horrible Freight or Princess Auto, or Neverlast and a few others that haul China made crap to the US one container at a time.

If you gotta go cheap, DON'T buy Plasma.
Until you learn what Hypertherm tells you free of charge, you have no idea what it costs to operate plasma.
