Many of us are deeply touched when folks share the loss of a faithful canine--when you've been there, you know how it feels.
So, here's one for smiles:
Dave Horvath and the other guys in WV put on one of the most fun PW ralleys ever this past week. I had to board my two year old Beago (half Golden, half Beagle) for the first time. When I went to the kennel to pick him up after seven days, the excitement and welcome was beyond words! He expended every once of energy--jumping, licking, yelping, non-stop for more than five minutes.
Maybe old Tom T. Hall got it right after all with "Old Dogs, Children, and Watermelon Wine" and of course Dodge Power Wagons!
