12 years ago this was a problem hope it is still not one? Is there a marine rated motor that has been found yet that works? Or any type? Seems there is quite a few that would work on one side but you would have to turn it up/side down for the other due to the motor. Wonder if you could still set the stops right? Has this been solved yet or just use the cheap ones?
