Yes sir Bill that is correct. I have several old Sears Suburban Garden Tractors and a International Cub Cadet 107 Garden Tractor from the late 60's, all still in use. You can still get parts for them. The most common problem I have had is the external mounted starter relay going bad and of course old wiring. Find out what is is on and let me know as I may have some parts if you need them.
Easiest test it to hook it up to a 12 volt battery with jumper cables.
