Jim - What you need to find is a 92 or 93 W250 or W350, with the 5.9 gas engine and the 5 speed. (I recall that the 5.2 used the NV3500, which you don't want.) Dodge did not use the NV4500 until 92, and after 93, they switched the transfer case drop (forward output) to the driver's side. This is an important consideration if you want to use the married transfer case from the donor vehicle. If you plan to use the engine from the donor vehicle, the 92 motors are the last of the LA series and have throttle body injection. The 93 motor is the first of the Magnum series, and is port injected. I bought one 93 W250 in running condition for 1600 and another 93 that didn't run (just a bad fuel pump) for 925. The second one is the donor vehicle for my FFPW build, but I have not started the transplant. The running W250 I am using. Also, I have several extra bell housings around, some new in box, if you need a bell housing. One of the guys that attends the Hollister rally, has an NV4500 in his truck. He installed it with a divorced NP205 transfer case. I asked him if he liked it (he loved it) and also asked if he would do anything different if he did it over. The answer was to use the married transfer case, to eliminate the jack shaft and it's vibration and to reduce the rear driveline angle.
