I just got the nylon straps for the tires. I wanted them for cars that have little/no clear area on the axle assembly. Otherwise I have chains/binders. I have not had issues with them, however the last old car I hauled had rotted tires, and after I got it home one blew into about a thousand pieces while just sitting. I would think than one out of four would still hold if checked regularly during transport?
