The problem is laundry soap ain't soap, and about half of that crap only goes to work above certain temperatures.

Dish soap on the other hand, well, a lot of that is crap too and most of it contains Sodium Silicate which is great for grease, BUT really screws up glass, especially the woman's collectible glass dinnerware.

If you preplan and buy yourself a quart of Polysorbate 20, same stuff that makes commercial ice cream holding the compressed air they pump in just before freezing, you can degrease and clean all kinds of things.
Polysorbate works very well in a Hobart commercial dishwasher for a transmission shop. Of course they also use very hot water.

Don't tell anybody, but Minoxidil that is supposed to make hair grow back out of a plugged scalp is Polysorbate 20 and water.
Do NOT ever tell a woman using Minoxidil on her almost bald spot to read the damn label before you tell her what you pay for it for degreasing.
