I used aluminum rivets with washers to help spread the load on the webbing. Also put a dab of RTV over the hole first to help seal out any moisture. I found and used rubber hood lace instead of the fabric.
There are holes on the fenders to help hold the fender welting, I used some weatherstrip adhesive on the back side as well.
