I mounted all of my own tires As said, the danger is filling the tires for the first time.
I made a 30 foot long hose that screws onto the valve stem and allows me to go outside of my garage to fill the tire. I also lay the tire on the floor split ring down.
To make the hose, buy a dual wheel valve extension 90 degrees and cut it in half. Put one half in each end of a long hose and hose clamp them in. This gives you a screw on end for the tire and a shrader valve on the fill end. You can test the tire pressure of the tire frofm 30 feet away.
The idea is to be no where near the tire while filling it the first time.
