... is the tweakers aren't stealing as much as they used to. But it seems like they only get the message after they take a load to the yard or they find out the local yard is closed. Around here, none of the local yards is even taking scrap steel any more. You have to take it to Spokane if you want money for it. I've got a couple hundred pounds of copper, kind of wishing I'd sold when it was high, but the price will go back up someday and meanwhile the pile gets bigger and it's like money in the bank.
