Just wanted to say I always like your "shop" stories. What year was the Packard? When I was a teenager I worked for a man who had a '33 Dusenberg in the garage. I'd look at it and imagine, but he never let me drive it. They said it was the first car with hydraulic brakes. Big straight 8 motor with real side pipes. Only time I saw it on the road, he was driving the governor in it in the 4th of July parade.
