I was by myself when I spooled the drum. I kept looking at the hook far away from me. Then I decided to use the handle to disengage the drum to make sure it would do that under some tension. It did but I still got a little nervous when it was down to a few feet! I was thinking of putting a Kill Switch for the engine at the winch control might come in handy some day??
