Not been mentioned yet, but you may want to check for an air leak between the fuel tank and the fuel pump. I had a Power Wagon with a very small leak like that - it would run for about a mile, then run out of fuel. Let it sit for a while, it would restart fine and run another mile before it would quit again. Hope you find the cause.
