I think it was more of a panic sell. When it was all done and said it really didn't make any difference. I hang onto stuff like that now. I would love to have a Good Roads plow but I was impressed with the Western set up. It was in my opinion worthy of the PW. The hydraulic pump clamped onto the Generator I just had to get a longer belt. I used it for one winter just for my own stuff but one day during that winter which was a heavy one, I got a call from a guy I knew back then and ask if I could help him out of a bind at a Mobile Home Park. It seems that the plow guy didn't plan on a heavy winter so he never rolled the snow back as far as he should have. Long story short, in a weeks time the road was down to a single lane with frozen solid snow pack behind the windrows. I took my 48 PW with the Western plow and spent the next 2 days rolling snow back to the curb. Made some decent money on that job. Man that old PW in low range low gear started pushing it. Once I got it moving there was no stooping me. I remember several people trying to stop and talk to me about the rig. I told them if they want to talk they would have to walk along side me cause I wasn't going to stop that load of snow unless it stopped me. Wish I had some pictures of that. That was a good time.
