Hi Gerald, welcome to the madness. I'm the guy doing the 6x6 with my sons. Willy-N has been raging through his project, and will probably have it done in the next few minutes. I - on the other hand - am taking the usual 5-10 year restoration path. My truck will look a lot like yours when it's done, but it uses a WW2 series WC63 chassis, so it's a factory 6x6. I'm curious to see pictures of how your chassis is set up.
The guy who built yours used an early civilian style cab, which has the advantage of having a recess in the center of the firewall. It gives a lot more clearance to a rear-mounted distributor. I'm a little jealous!
