Some Toyota Land Cruisers had an auxiliary heater in the rear compartment. I never owned one that did, but when I had mine, I always wished it had the extra heat.
I suspect running the line from the first heater to the second one would suffice.
Maybe you could find some info on how they were plumbed at a Land Cruiser site?
