It's hard to tell from the picture - is the channel section (the part with the mount hole/ground screw in it) flat all the way across until the rounded end or does it taper up as you approach the corner? Or more specifically, is the mount hole 1 1/2" from the bottom of the floor?
I am planning on putting a 3" x 1 1/2" steel tube spanning the space between the mounting holes. I'll be back to this picture, for sure.
