That truck I bought in Phoenix & it was owned by a diving company that used it to haul their scuba gear. Scuba in Phoenix?? They used to go to Mexico with it! Anyway, I don't know this for fact but based on the fact that the rocker panels had paint applied over bugs & they never masked the engine or interior...they just painted the exterior blue...when you opened a door or hood...original white still...so me thinks it was painted in Mexico :)
Anyway, it needed a RH front fender & so I had a good one, blasted it & decided to have it powdercoated off white & I'd match the blue to the rest one day. Then the bed...they'd dura lined the inside of the 9' bed right over the rotten wood!! So only way to get it off...take it apart & scrape & blast it. Hmmm...powder coat it white & deal with it later. "Hey...I kind of like this white...the whole bed, fenders, tailgate, supports were only $400 to powdercoat! Maybe I'll do the hood while it's off!!
Then the door skins had a bit of rust at the rear corners so I removed the skins & replaced the bottom 2" of the doors...better powdercoat them.
