Are you seriously going to operate it with compressed air in actual use, or was that just for testing purposes? Compressed air would be horrible for a dump bed because the position of the rams would depend on not only the air pressure but the amount of weight in the bed and how far up the bed was. You would have very little control over it and it would be liable to spring up suddenly with a bang, whereas with hydraulics you get a nice steady balanced movement regardless of load and position.
