I thought about that a lot looking at it. The plate that the bearings base bolts to keeps them square and won't allow them to bend unless both go at once. The 3/16" thick side plates can only tear off if they break. The plate is strong enough it won't distort so the bearings have to stay square. The frame will have cross members and gussets welded in. Any dump truck that gets on a side hill dump will either tip over or lock up the hinge. I have seen this happen. I did come up with a pendulum switch that would stop it from working if on a angle but it would need a over ride and a idiot person would not use it.
