I have read about those fires and they were big. They also lost a lot of fire fighters in them. Having logged over 100 fires with the USFS alone and been on some of their record ones this year is a bad one for fire in the Okanogan Valley! Going to top the Carlton Fire from last year in about the same areas and more. Connelly is about to burn if they don't stop it soon!!! It is coming in on 2 sides and the people have left on roads now blocked off. The fire is at both lakes in Town.
