Ocasionally I use a cardboard box (& good old duct tape) to surround the part(s) I am blasting... even if on the vehicle. Beats the heck out of tarps and cloths, contains the sand to a limited area, and gives you a collector at no cost. Cardboard is cheap, configures easily, and disposable. I agree with protecting the lungs, but doubt with the small amount I blasting I do that I need anything commercial grade. I am envious of those that get great deals on blast cabinets... wish I had one! Thanks!
