W300 steering gear info

I bought a rough 64 D600 last night for $50.00 and was curious as to the manual steering gear being interchangeable with a W300 of the same vintage.

The Dodge manual indicates the W300 used #
Y5D-375, which is used on all D/PD/S 500-600 with extra equipment 7000# front axle. It is standard on the C/PC 500-600 with either the 5000# or 7000# axle.

I didn't look at the spring rating on the data plate last night. The truck did not have the W500 type flaired fender shared with the 7000# front axle equipped D600,
I will assume it does not have an interchangeable steering gear with the W300.
