I watched a redimix truck with 2 chains perfectly placed 1 on each side of the axel & carefully attached to the ripper of a D8 cat, & as the cat skinner ever so gently moved forward he succeeded in ever so gently removing the complete front axel ! A lesson I never forgot. George
