Well I took yesterday and went junkyarding.

After several false leads and much driving I was headed home in defeat when I happened by a yard that looked good.

He said he had three 58-60 pickups, so I went out to check them.

I found two, buried out in the weeds, and while I was looking for those I found 2 62-64 W500s with winches.

One was a V8, and one was a slant six. They were rusty, but TOTALY complete.

He said $2,000 or best offer would buy either complete truck. Said they ran when he parked them.

Then I found a B-1 PW, rusty cab and doors, but salvageable front clip, big boom out the back. It had a huge winch for the boom, and while it had frame extensions there was no winch.

He wanted $1,000 OBO as it sat, or $700 OBO if he could keep the winch for the boom(not a PW winch).

Then there was a 64 W200 frame and drivetrain, and a 69-71 W100.

He also had a 1952 LU-4 winch, good cases, good gears, he said there was a twisted shaft.

There were also several 61-71 Dodge trucks, a 39-40 with all the lower chrome, a couple of 59-60s, a 48-53 1 ton with a 9 foot bed, a 55-56 with a good grill, lots of 70's stuff, TONS of CJ, IH, and other old stuff.

A couple of interesting cars he showed me were a oldsmobile sedan delivery from the 50's, I have never heard of such a thing! He said it may be one of 8 known to exsist.

He also had 57 chevy number 26!

His yard truck was a 58 NAPCO, and he said he had three more NAPCOs laying around.

This yard is worth the trip, just to talk to the owner, but if you need Dodge truck bits he may have it.

Most of the stuff in the yard was RUSTY, so don't expect to get much sheetmetal, but he still has many good parts!

I will scan in and post pictures of the W500s, and the B-1 when I get home.

I am off agian, and will post the contact info when I get back.

Eric
