Hi Tim. Glad you found the problem. You can thank the road dept. for the chemicals they use in the winter. My '06 front end was rusted up after one season. We were installing the Dyna Trac hub kit and had to beat and pry to get things apart to add the new parts. We tried to seal all gaps with silicon after putting it back together. I have had a number of different parts that have needed replacement due to rusting. Your truck is 3 years newer than mine....get ready for the rest of the fun. :) Personally I would prefer replacing the windshield every few years from rock chips than having my vehicles rust away part by part.
