George was "my man" when it came to my M37. I bought everything I needed from him onculding but not limited to: a transmission, engine and electrical parts, sheet metal, a full winch including frame extensions, PTO -everything.
The coolest thing I ever got from him was an issue kit for converting the winch to an A-frame boom. It is still sealed in the wood crate it came from the factory or depot in.
I missed him at this year's Aberdeen.
I have nothing but the fondest of memories of him. He was a veteran as I recall. May he rest in peace. db
