Correct, it just hooks to the underside of the dash below the glove box. I had to look it up too when I did mine a few weeks ago.
The archives had a tip that I used for install. Hook the springs on the inside of the glove box like in the pic here, then take some lock-wire or equivalent and loop it over the other end of the spring under the dash. Then you can use a pair of vice grips or pliers to roll up the ends of the wire to get the leverage to hook them under the dash. Then you can cut it loose and repeat on the other side. Worked well for me.
