Shortly before I left Everett, there was a guy in town selling a real nice mostly-restored WC for $3000. He had taken it all apart, had all the body work done and primed, all the gearboxes and brakes in good shape, rebuilt or replace as needed, and quite a few extra parts. It was back together enough that it would move under its own power. He was just hard up, needed the cash, had to get it out of where it was and probably didn't know what they're worth on ebay or this forum. He just had it in the local classifieds as "42 dodge" or some such. I would have scraped together the money to buy it, but I had no covered storage of any sort (still don't) and it would have been a shame to leave it out in the weather.
