Reconditioned this well-built gas tank. drained out the old gas and flushed out a lot of rust. Filled the tank with nuts and bolts and shook like heck. Flushed again and coated the inside with phosphoric acid. Pick-up tube was completely clogged. Coat hanger and carb cleaner did the trick. Tank has a sending unit and an old brake line bent over as a vent. No longer need the gas can on the fender. I guess brakes will have to come soon.
