Sure is. I sure wish my grand-dad could have gotten his knees replaced. He was crippled up with arthritis so bad he could hardly walk for his last 10 years, but nothing else was wrong with him. These days, he'd get the artificial knees and he'd be back chasing his hounds over the mountains. I had an old-timer neighbor a while back who told me he was going to go in for a knee replacement (blew it out playing college football back in the leather-helmet days), but first they were going to have to change out the pig valve in his heart because his old pig valve was too wore out for the knee operation. It sounded like he was talking about working on an old truck.
