In the past my area was very industrialized. The steel mills, foundrys, pattern shops, machine shops and the like were our bread and butter. Now...well you know the story. I see brass oilers every week at the flea market. I see them all shined up by antique dealers and sometimes in cardboard boxes of miscellaneous on the ground. As a kid I saw them on the antique machinery my uncle had. He would flip up the lever on top and then turn on the machine. That film of oil protected the Babbitt bearings. I'll ask next week and see what kind of money they bring. Jim
