This bed was a barn find from a few years ago. Panels and header were bolted together (welded in a few spots) and there was a crossmember welded in to replace the missing tailgate. I picked up a tailgate at the Rally, and it's the same size as the header. So..
What I can't find is what truck it came from. All the 9 foot beds I've seen pics of have the big step side fenders on them, or look a lot shorter -lower sided?- than the PW beds. This one has the slanted top rails and curved stake pockets. It looks just like a 2nd series PW bed, only longer..
The fender has the same arc, width and length as a PW fender. But it has a more rounded outside edge. The inside edge has a 90° bend where it bolts up, too.
Any ideas?
