Hi Jerry, My WC4 Tranny PTO Winch shifter shaft at the bottom of the PTO has leaked for a while, just enough to be a pain. I changed the shifter shaft seal and it helped some, but the real problem is the shifter shaft. It is just 75 years old, has some pits in it. I tried a quick fix with JB Weld, with not much improvement. I wonder If I got some corn head grease down into the PTO maybe it would slow it up a lot. The winch gets no use to speak of. What do you think ?
