The discussion of corn head grease has been on this forum several times. I have used a product called EZ Flow Lithium grease for years. Having used the corn head grease in tubes I am convinced the two are very similar. I have used EZ Flow in hubs, steering boxes, winches, and transfer cases in my '66 Ford F350 4x4 for years, usually because the seals were leaking and I didn't want to take time to deal with the problem. I can't find the EZ Flow anymore and have started using John Deere corn head.
As others have said, the stuff has a remarkable ability to follow the gears and not solidify.
