I was checking out the video for the water-sand blaster that Willy used and I am really thinking about getting one but I have a couple of questions:
What kind of sand works well? Is it a special mix or will a truck load of fine sand work from the local pit (Dried out of course)?
How is clean up? Is there any residue left on the metal?
What kind of pressure washer works the best? I have an older Honda powered one and I think it is 2800 psi.
Has anyone tried hooking it up to a pressure pot to feet the blasting sand? In my experience, the siphon type blasting setups havent worked worth a crap.
A whole mess of sand on my gravel driveway wouldn't hurt a thing and it is a real pain to set up, use, and clean up after the pressure pot I currently have, not to mention suiting up and wearing a respirator.
