I moved from Hesperia to Phelan off Baldy Mesa approaching two years ago. Bought a one acre place for me and the trucks that were in Devore.
Just got back (11pm) from hanging out with Mark and visiting Hearst Castle today with my daughter. When I left this morning at 4am the flames of the Wrightwood fire were visible from home. Then traveled South on the 15fwy seeing the charred freeway where the cars burned. The fire seemed to be out with just some flare ups. Fire crews were scouting the hill sides and set up on the side of the freeway.
Looks like the rain here was nice and needed. Not so much fun traveling the Grape Vine with the storm earlier tonight.
