I couldn't agree more. I used to have a whole shipyard at my disposal & enough sand & equipment to blast a ship...no thanks. 10 years ago I used to do it myself but I quickly realized that for $300, I could blast & powdercoat a frame & do something with my time more productive.
I proved to myself that I could do all the jobs to restore the vehicle but that there were several jobs that were not effective for me to waste my time on...sandblasting being one & painting has become another.
I don't mind prep work... In fact it's kind of relaxing but spraying without a $100k spray booth...not for me anymore.
I guess I'm getting soft :)
