Hi Lift jacks are cool looking on a PW or even on my old Ford. But they are about as dangerous as anything you can do on a truck. I have had them slip on ice, sink in mud, fall over sideways, get stuck in the highest raised position possible, and anything else, but I have always managed to dodge a hit to the face with one. I have a really cool old one with an oak (hickory?) handle, and 3 others of different vintage.
