Okay, so here's the deal. I'd like to have a 9ft WDX style bed on my 6x6. I'd like to avoid a second or third series bed because of the embossing on the sides, which will look odd with the longer 6x6 fenders.
All of this drama is because I'm having a hard time figuring out how to make the 1" roll at the top edge of the bed. I've seen guys weld thin wall conduit or other pipe to the edge, but I'm not keen on how it looks with the stitch weld and seam. I'm not a great welder, and I figure I will warp the sheet metal running a long stitched bead (and then ground down) to hide the seam. So I'm curious if anyone has a solution?
